An Act relating to mammography screening; amending 36 O.S. 2021, Section 6060, as amended by Section 1, Chapter 294, O.S.L. 2022 (36 O.S. Supp. 2024, Section 6060), which relates to coverage for low-dose mammography screening; adding new types of examinations; adding a definition; and providing an effective date.

The Governor vetoed HB 1389. In his veto message, he claimed that mandating coverage of certain mammograms would lead to higher health insurance premiums for everyone.
Requires health benefit plans to cover contrast-enhanced mammograms and molecular breast imaging as part of mammogram coverage.
