HB 2969 requires the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) to add an immigration-status attestation to every presumptive-eligibility application that hospitals or providers submit for Medicaid (SoonerCare/SoonerSelect). The attestation is a self-certification under penalty of perjury, with verification after enrollment.

    It also requires OHCA, when federal law requires it, to share information with the appropriate federal authority on applicants who are “illegal aliens.”
