Bill has passed both the policy and oversight committee
HB 3674 establishes a requirement that all school resources officers (SROs) complete CLEET-provided or certified, evidence-based sexual assault and violence training within 6 months of starting employment at a school and 1 hour of annual continuing education.
It also requires SROs to report any sexual assault reports to law enforcement.
Effective November 1, 2026.
