  1. SB 1214 requires Oklahoma school districts to adopt policies and provide education on sex trafficking, exploitation prevention, and online safety for all students in grades 6-12.

    It directs the State Department of Education to develop curriculum covering specific topics that districts must deliver in set instructional timeframes and make publicly available on their websites. Parents must be notified and may opt their children out. This is refile; see SB 1198 (2024).

    Effective July 1, 2027.
