Summary of original text:

SB 723 prohibits any physician from performing an abortion on an embryo if the physician determines the embryonic or fetal heartbeat is audible. Physicians must determine if the embryonic or fetal heartbeat of the unborn child is audible if the pregnancy is 6 weeks after fertilization. Physicians who violate the provisions of this measure are subject to licensure loss or suspension.
