Metriarch is a statewide data collaborative that aims to normalize and broaden women’s health conversations in Oklahoma through data storytelling, resource curation, and interactive outreach events.
In today’s Oklahoma, it has become exceedingly difficult to tell a nuanced story about women’s health without falling into numerous ideological traps. The thing is- there is nothing controversial about being a woman, and it’s time we tell that story. Metriarch is a statewide data collaborative that centers the women’s health conversation around human dignity, inherent value and essential security for women and their families.
Convened by the Take Control Initiative, Metriarch is modeled on a dynamic collective impact format, with nonprofit organizations, social enterprises, and government entities from across Oklahoma at the table. Entities from across the state with shared vision are encouraged to participate.
